Um campo magn\u00e9tico \u00e9 invis\u00edvel, mas os seus efeitos podem ser observados. Quando um material magn\u00e9tico \u00e9 colocado num campo magn\u00e9tico, \u00e9 sujeito a uma for\u00e7a.
