@ Home Education

TEAMS

Teams consist of 2 to 4 students lead by one mentor. We are expecting teams of undergraduate students from any European University.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

Interested teams are required to apply by sending an email with the following information to the Organizing Committee (home_edu@2022.robocupjunior.eu):

  • Team Name:
  • Country/Region:
  • Affiliation:
  • Team Leader Name:
  • Email:

 

Furthermore, it is required to inform in this mail if the team has already a platform for the challenge or not. The email subject should be: [@HomeEDU2022] (Your Team Name)

IMPORTANT DATES

No @Home Educationteam can register/pay after May 23rd, 2022

HARDWARE

Depending on the number of registered teams, the organization may have some platforms available at the event.

Open Platform (OP):

  • Robot (TurtleBot2 / MARRtino)
  • 3D/Vision Sensor (Xtion/Astra)
  • Laser Sensor (Hokuyo/RPlidar)
 

Other ROS-based platforms are also accepted.

COMPETITION TASKS

According to the RoboCup @Home Education official rulebook, the competition tasks for this event are the following:

  • Carry my luggage
  • Receptionist
  • Find my mate
 

All registered teams must also compete in the Final Demonstration and Presentation (to be announced).
