Reach Portugal by Airplane
There are many ways to get to European RoboCup 2022 no matter where you’re coming from. The nearest airport to Guimarães is the Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport in Porto (OPO), which is about 50 km from Guimarães.

European RoboCup'22 dedicated Shuttle to Guimarães
Important: only on 31st May (all day) and on 1st June (morning only)
The European RoboCup 2022 Organizing Committee arranged special transportation for participants from Porto Airport (OPO) that will take you directly to the venue of the event - Multiusos de Guimarães.
This service will be available on the 31st May (all day) and on 1st June (morning only). It costs only 6€/person, and takes about 40 minute and payment is inside the bus.
It's "first come first served" service.
There will be a person with our event LOGO at the airport easy to access from "arrivals", to point you to the bus, should you wish.
GetBus - Regular Shuttle to Guimarães
Get bus is a regular service that offers the possibility to take you from the Airport to the City of Guimarães. If you want to use this service, we recommend that you make a reservation on this company's website (see link below).
The service will take you to the Bus Center in Guimarães (next to GuimarãeShopping), which is 1km away from the venue (Multiusos de Guimarães). This service costs €8 and must be booked in advance.

Metro/Train Services
The rail link is through the electrified line, from which are established several direct and / or no direct links between various destinations, which allows the movement between Guimarães / Porto, and vice versa, takes about 60 minutes.
To use this service, first you need to use Metro System from Porto Airport to Campanhã Rail Station.
From Campanhã Train Station, you can connect directly to the Guimarães Train Station, which is 1.5km away from the venue (Multiusos de Guimarães).

Rent a Car / Taxi / Uber
Conventional services are also available for connections between Porto and Guimarães.
There is a motorway straight from the airport to the city of Guimarães, allowing a trip of 30 minutes by car.
