Little Bits
LittleBits is an electronic module company founded at the MIT Media Lab that creates electronic modules with specific functionality such as lighting, motion, and music. To use them for prototyping, learning, and enjoyment, simply snap them together with magnets.
Components:
- DC Motor
- Buzzer
- Light Sensor
- Bargraph
- Button
- Dimmer
- Power
- Wires
- Bright Led
Working Principle:
With the littleBits Base Kit, you can create circuits in seconds. There is no need for soldering, programming, or wiring. This set has ten color-coded modules that can be used to create over 150,000 circuit configurations. With the DC motor and light sensor, you can control a car with light, or terrify your pals with a secret button and a buzzer.
The Base Kit is ideal for kids and younger innovators who want to get started innovating with electronics right away. It’s hard to make a mistake because the bits snap together with magnets. Youngsters can learn the fundamentals of electronics, explore STEAM/STEM principles, develop critical thinking skills, or simply have fun with blinking, buzzing creations. There is no need for soldering, wiring, or programming.
- There are over 150,000 circuit combinations to choose from.
- Includes an instruction book with eight tasks as well as access to hundreds more online.
- The kit comprises ten modules, including DC motors, buzzers, dimmer switches, light sensors, and more.
- Make popular projects such as a Pizza Box Phonograph, a Drink Mixer, an Art Bot, a Star Chart, and more!
- Master the kit and add more modules as needed; each kit is compatible with every other littleBits module.
Instructions:
- Try interconnecting the modules
- Start by connecting the power supply (9V battery) and then connect any other module.
- You can interconnect several modules sequentially
